Interior Decorating and Visual Display

The Interior Decorating and Visual Display program aims to train interior decorators and those who create shop displays.

Interior decorators will plan and execute decorative projects, keeping in mind the needs of the client, whether private or commercial. The decorators are often employees of decorator shops but may also be independently employed.

Display managers plan and execute display projects, display new products and exposition tables and materials. Usually, commercial specialists or visual presentation specialists, these professionals can also be self employed.

In both cases, interior decorators can create displays as well as offer decorating advice, specifically in a commercial setting. Those who are independently employed will need to promote and market their services.
